Grammy winner with 2 nominations. I photographed Bobby Brown twice performing with New Edition. New Edition was nominated one time when Johnny Gill was part of the group. Johnny Gill was also nominated one other time. This group is legendary. I do not think there is a group with more #1 hits as a group and individual combined.
The photograph above of Bobby Brown and El Debarge (5 nominations) is one of my favorite photographs because I enjoying telling the story of the moment. I was backstage when Bobby stopped me and said get a picture. He then pointed to all three of us and said this is the future. Every time I see this photograph it makes me smile.
