9x Grammy winner and nominated 23 other times. Some of my favorite photographs came during this performance. The photograph above was the opening of the show. The place went from pitch black to flashes of Mary J. with different pattern splashes of color. I noticed the lights were exactly on time with the beat. So I got lucky but I was also ready to get this shot.
