Today I was up in New York City to document/photograph Rachel Ana Dobken in a recording studio session. I really love being around talented musicians. So great seeing the process of a song coming together. It is like watching a painting come together. The experience makes it all even more special next time I hear the song.
During the recording sessions, my goal is to stay out of the way and document the experience. There is a lot of downtimes but I wait for moments. I would even take a few photographs when they don't even realize anymore that I'm doing it.
On my way back to NYC Penn Station I got excited seeing signs for the upcoming GRAMMY Awards, which are a week away. Really wish I could be there but the goals is still a year from now!
