Last night I photographed Kevin Eubanks at Birdland for Guitar Connoisseur Magazine. Eubanks will be a featured story coming soon. Birdland is the third installment of the original 1949 venue. The venue has a great history of jazz legends then and now who've performed at the various locations. Being the first time the magazine editors and I have ever been to the venue we all agreed that the entire staff treated us better than any other venue we've been. For the size of the venue, it does have nice lanes and angles to photograph the performers. The acoustics sound great for all those at that come to experience live music. I really do hope I get to shoot here again.
